Year of the Snake

Hey Everyone,

It’s been a minute, and I’ve missed writing and hearing from you. Life took some wild, unexpected turns last year, and I had to step away. For those who don’t know, Joseph and I dropped everything when a rare chance came to get his brother’s family out of the refugee camps in Lebanon—a mission Joseph’s been fighting for over a decade, and one I took on when I promised to stand by him. With bombs falling on Beirut, we couldn’t wait. We took the chance, and while we accomplished more than we thought possible, the weight of what we couldn’t do still lingers.

Now, back on our little island in the Pacific Northwest, we’re finding our footing—just breathing, grounding, and wrapping ourselves in the rhythm of the rain and evergreens.

2025 hasn’t pulled any punches, and I’m slowly making my way back to you.

I’ll be re-releasing audio versions of past episodes so we can catch up together, and there’s so much more of our story to share soon. For now, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for sticking with me—it truly means everything.
